New: Online Course - Improving Instruction for Students with Dysleixa
The staff at the Tennessee Center for the Treatment and Study of Dyslexia have developed an introductory course for teachers, administrators, teachers in training, parents, and anyone interested in this learning disability. This interactive, on-demand course contains four (4) modules or segments:

1. Introduction to Dyslexia
2. Assessment of Dyslexia
3. Intervention for Students with Dyslexia
4. Accomodations for Students with Dyslexia

Dyslexia in the News: Student with Dyslexia Gets High ACT Results
An Article in The MTSU Record: A young man, diagnosed in the eighth grade with dyslexia and supported for three subsequent years by the professional staff at the Tennessee Center for the Study and Treatment of Dyslexia, recently scored a 32 composite score on his ACT.
Graduate Certificate Program
The Dyslexic Studies program at MTSU began offering credit-bearing courses in the summer of 2002. The Tennessee Board of Regents approved implementations of this certificate program in April 2003.
