Structured Literacy Instruction

The Center promotes structured literacy instruction to K-12 students with characteristics of dyslexia. This instruction is delivered in a small group setting with sustained intensity.

A few national organizations maintain public lists of professionals trained to provide Structured Literacy intervention, which is necessary for students with characteristics of dyslexia. This type of intervention is also known as Orton-Gillingham based instruction or Multisensory Structured Language Instruction.
